Let’s talk about skin today. As we get near the peak of the summer in Texas, there are some things we need to know! Dogs, just like humans, can get sunburns, irritated, and even develop skin cancer. One of the natural protectants of a dog is their coat, but even their coats are not enough, specially with breeds who have been shaved down for the summer. Is always a good idea to go a step forward and put dog sunscreen on them. DO NOT put human sunscreen on your dog!! There are some ingredients such as Zinc Oxide which can be poisonous to dogs.
