Downtown McKinney will be celebrating cultures from around the world at the 16th annual Krewe of Barkus Mardi Gras dog parade and festival Sunday, Feb. 11. This year’s theme is “The Bark-A-Palooza Tour Around the World – Celebrating Countries & Cultures Across the Globe” and everyone is encouraged to choose a country to use as inspiration for costumes and decor. Be it your heritage, somewhere you’ve been, or where you’d really like to go, this is going to be the festival of nations
